Wyverne House

Residential Refurbishment

Wyverne House underwent a full residential refurbishment to address structural issues and enhance both its functionality and aesthetic presence.

Situated with stunning views over the Wealden landscape, the property required careful design interventions to modernise the home while maximising enjoyment of its private garden and panoramic vistas.

The renovation included the replacement of defective flat and pitched roofs, new glazed balconies, upgraded windows and doors, and natural timber cladding for a fresh, contemporary exterior.

Internally, key upgrades enhanced the quality of living spaces throughout the home.

To respond to the south-facing glazing and the intense summer sun, the design incorporated a series of sliding timber shutters, allowing the homeowner to control natural daylight and create a more comfortable, light-filled environment all year round.

Externally, Mullery Architects collaborated with award-winning landscape designer Greenes to deliver a comprehensive garden masterplan.

The new layout features a sunken swimming pool, natural stone patios with BBQ and covered seating areas, and carefully considered planting and lawn zones, creating a cohesive indoor-outdoor lifestyle.

The completed residential refurbishment transforms Wyverne House into a modern, comfortable, and visually striking home.

Thoughtful shading solutions, high-quality materials, and tailored interior improvements have enhanced both functionality and comfort, while the redesigned garden offers spaces for relaxation and entertaining.

The property now achieves a seamless balance between contemporary living and its picturesque surroundings, elevating daily life while celebrating its unique landscape.
