Status : Planning Approved

Location : Hammersmith, London

Project Description:

Kelmscott House is a Georgian brick mansion located on the Upper Mall in Hammersmith, overlooking the River Thames. It was the London home of English textile designer, artist, writer and socialist William Morris from October 1878 until his death in October 1896 and is Grade II* listed by Historic England.

Our client approached us to assist in a sensitive renovation of the coach house and to permanently divide the main house living quarters from the William Morris Museum at ground floor level. Planning and listed building permission has been granted and the works are scheduled to begin in 2022.
