We have recently been asked to extend and modernise a family home and transform the house into something special.

Here are a series of artists impressions of our concept design, along with reference images of the existing property. We have decided to render the brickwork and introduce a contrasting dark timber cladding where we have extended.

The scheme is currently with the council under a householder planning application and our fingers are firmly crossed for a positive outcome in the new year.

The project features a number of living extensive green roofscapes with wildflowers to improve the ecological value of the site. The deep foliage helps to conceal a number of photovoltaic panels, which will power the renewable heating and cooling systems that serve both the main house and pool house.
