Mullery Architects is a design driven Architectural Design Studio, covering the South-East, including London, Kent and East Sussex.
We are a technically equipped, design conscious studio that has experience in all aspects of the construction industry. Several self-build projects have helped us to gain experience in the delivery of on-site projects, including procurement, project management and construction methods. This experience has given us the confidence to explore and achieve bespoke design in all aspects of our projects.
Mullery Architects are currently delivering small to large scale projects including residential extensions, one-off private homes, and multi-unit housing schemes from concept to completion.
We strive to achieve high quality design for all of our clients. Whilst we acknowledge that design can be expensive where materials are concerned, we believe the principles of good design are accessible to all budgets and endeavour to work hard and exceed expectations.

THE TEAM

JAKE MULLERY
RIBA, ARB, BA (Hons), DipArch
Practice founder Jake Mullery has acquired a keen eye for detail and an in depth knowledge of the planning system and building regulations whilst working for other chartered architectural practices for over 10 years before establishing his own company.
Having physically extended his own home and constructed other small buildings, he has a strong knowledge of the building process from both a design and practical perspective. Jake believes the principles of good design are applicable on all projects regardless of budget and scale. Jake also believes the design process should be fun, collaborative and focused on delivering the client brief whilst simultaneously pushing boundaries.

RICHARD FORD
RIBA PTII, BA (Hons), MArch
Richard studied both Part I and Part II at Canterbury School of Architecture (UCA), graduating as a Master of Architecture in 2019 shortly before joining our team.
Prior to this, he worked in and around the World Heritage city of Bath, gaining experience working on a number of challenging planning applications for bespoke, one-off houses.
Joining Mullery Architects has allowed him the opportunity to expand his understanding of technical detailing and his appreciation for the craft of building – within which he believes the joy of architecture lies.

DEINMA ANGA
